South Mitrovica in Support of Women’s Economic Empowerment

It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation with the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of South Mitrovica, Enis Osmani, and the Chief of Cabinet, Arta Azemi Ahmeti, during a very constructive meeting held today at the municipality. During the meeting, initiatives and ideas aimed at strengthening women’s economic empowerment and creating more opportunities for women in entrepreneurship and economic development were discussed.

The Deputy Mayor and the Chief of Cabinet expressed their readiness and commitment to support initiatives that contribute to advancing the role of women in the economy and strengthening their opportunities for professional and economic development.

During the meeting, representatives of the Regional Working Group were also introduced. Together with the project team, they will work closely to identify the needs of women and improve the entrepreneurial environment in this municipality. This cooperation aims to create a stronger foundation for supporting and developing women’s entrepreneurship in South Mitrovica.
