“Her Future” Opens a New Chapter for Women Entrepreneurs in Kosovo

“Her Future” is opening a new chapter for women entrepreneurs in Kosovo, bringing together institutions, businesses, organizations, and communities that believe women’s economic empowerment is key to the sustainable development of society.

One of the most inspiring moments of the conference was the sharing of experiences by entrepreneurs Vjendita Avdiu Musliu and Fehmie Mazreku, who demonstrated that with dedication, support, and self-confidence, challenges can be transformed into opportunities and ideas into success stories.

A valuable contribution to the discussion was also made by Prof. Nazli Tyfekçi from the University of Gjakova, who emphasized the role of education in empowering women.

Their messages and experiences were joined by Shaqir Totaj, Mayor of Prizren, Arta Ahmeti Xhylani, representative of the Ministry of Regional Development, as well as Regional Coordinators Shpresa Gosalci, Mirlinda Dana Nagavci, and Erodita Tatlixhi.

During the conference, the upcoming project activities were also presented, including an intensive camp for aspiring women entrepreneurs, regional networking initiatives, and a grant scheme that will support new business ventures.

The message of the day was clear: “Kosovo has the potential, energy, and determination to create more opportunities for women in entrepreneurship.” Together, we are building a future where every woman and girl has the opportunity to develop her talents, realize her ambitions, and contribute to shared prosperity.

“Her Future” continues its journey with the conviction that women’s economic empowerment is a transformative force for families, communities, and society as a whole.
