Istog Municipality Strengthens Partnership to Empower Women Entrepreneurs

It was a pleasure to meet today with the Mayor of the Municipality of Istog, Mr. Ilir Ferati. The pleasure is even greater considering that the Municipality of Istog has been a trusted partner in projects implemented by PREDA Plus, WEntrepreneur, and ASB since February 2017. The results of this cooperation are widely recognized and highly appreciated within the community.

Through the project “Her Future,” we aim to further strengthen this partnership by supporting the ideas of girls and women who seek to take their first steps into the world of entrepreneurship.

Mayor Ferati appreciated the cooperation to date and expressed the institution’s readiness to support the project’s activities and the achievement of the planned results.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, clearly defining the roles and obligations of the parties.

The meeting was also attended by Nexa’s Coordinator for the Peja Region, Ms. Erodita Tatlixhi, as well as members of the Working Group: Ms. Ajmane Metaj, Ms. Samka Drançolli, Ms. Albana Mujaj, and Ms. Suzana Avdyli, who will be directly engaged in the implementation of activities in the field.
