Workshop on the Development of Regional Strategic Measures for Women’s Entrepreneurship: An Important Step Toward a Clear Action Framework for Women’s Economic Empowerment

Within the framework of the HER FUTURE – Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Kosovo project, from February 10–13, 2026, in Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia, a four-day workshop was held on the Development of Regional Strategic Measures for Women’s Entrepreneurship in Kosovo.

During these intensive working days, representatives of the Regional Working Groups collaborated in a structured and cooperative manner to lay the foundations of the regional strategic documents. The process began with defining roles and drafting work plans, followed by situation analysis and needs assessment through concrete methodologies such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews with key informants.

A special focus was placed on the regional SWOT analysis for women entrepreneurs, synthesizing the collected data into concrete findings that will serve as a foundation for the formulation of effective strategies. Subsequently, participants worked on defining the vision, mission, and SMART strategic objectives, as well as identifying and prioritizing strategic measures through the “Impact–Effort” matrix.

This workshop marks an important phase in the process of drafting the Regional Strategic Measures and strengthens inter-institutional cooperation aimed at women’s economic empowerment and sustainable regional development in Kosovo.
